Giodarno x 12 International Artists - World Without Strangers

August 11th, 2008  |  by admin  |  published in Product

Giordano is kind of Hong Kong’s Gap, and they’re tying in with the whole Olympics thing and doing a Uniqlo, collaborating with 12 different artists on a range of tees. The actual designs aren’t too bad I’ll give them that, although it’s yet to see whether the stock quality is any good. I was clothed […]

We love dots - Gallery 1950 x Porter “Enamel Series”

August 11th, 2008  |  by admin  |  published in Product

Hey hey, finally I think the whole micro-trend of polka dots on everything has kind of died out, and we can once again emerge from the shadows are profess our love for little repeated circles. This year’s collaboration between Gallery 1950 and Porter features both dots and enamel, the same enamel perhaps used on the […]

8″ Treeson

August 8th, 2008  |  by admin  |  published in Product

That’s too harsh, we just did on order and the very next day, Crazy Label announces that the 8″ Treeson is now available on their online store. These things are too cute. For the record we bought the Treeson and Other Stories Bookset (sold out) and a Baby Treeson is Pastel Pink. Adorable.
They’ve got a […]

Nike’s “Beautiul Losers” Dunk Collection

August 7th, 2008  |  by admin  |  published in Product

Been totally over Dunks, but these are really something. Apart from their significance, I love the all-over print vibe, but of course they’re pretty unattainable. I’m not even going to try to summarise, pop over and read up.

Layerbylayer’s geometric forms

August 6th, 2008  |  by Irene  |  published in Art, Product

A “schooled architect” uses his model building skills to create these beautiful craft/art/objects.
Made from recycled cardboard, beeswax and patches of moss, you’ll enjoy having these to look at on the gloomy days, all without having much in the way of maintenance. They’re really affordable too.
Desk too messy ? Then maybe try the smaller magnetic […]

Bird Electron’s AirBoard Keyboard Tray

August 5th, 2008  |  by Irene  |  published in Design, Product

Some might say this completely defeats the minimalist approach that Apple has taken with they’re keyboard, but who cares? Wood grain and aluminium were born to be side by side. This little wrist read by Japanese company Bird Electron is available here for 5,000円. Check out their products, including these cube ipod speaker.

Devilock x Red Ribbon - AIDS Awareness T-Shirts

August 4th, 2008  |  by admin  |  published in Product

Japanese label Devilock and Red Ribbon enlisted 5 top AV Actresses to pose semi-nude with messages which advocate protective sex. Great cause, pretty nice design, on the front and sleeves at least. But the copy is just a little bit awkward?

Bape: A Bathing Ape Folding Trays

August 4th, 2008  |  by admin  |  published in Product

Even though I’m not a Bape fan, these are pretty nice and simple. And yes, I agree they’re pretty useful. A landing pad kind of thing is always good to keep your keys, wallets, watches and sunnies tidy with. I’m seriously tempted to get my own made now that I think of it. How about […]

Converse 100th Anniversary - Vintage Leather Jacket Chucks

August 4th, 2008  |  by admin  |  published in Product

Ok way to post old news I know, but I must say Converse have done an amazing job with these. A truly epic pair of shoes, the details are totally over the top. The multiple zips, buttons on the tongue, stitching on the side panels, to die for.
We’re really big Visvim fans over here and […]

Microsoft Arc Mouse

July 29th, 2008  |  by admin  |  published in Product

Hey wow this mouse doesn’t look half bad! Now we’ll just have to see whether it performs, I suspect it’ll be fairly rubbish. Can’t we have both performance and design with our mice? Well, to be honest the way the Arc curls up like a prawn is pretty cute.
